Elk Heart Outfitters operates in Southwest Colorado in Units 77 and 78 in the remote and rugged terrain of the San Juan National Forest. Our mission is to provide safe and memorable backcountry experiences rooted in traditional Western values.
We deliver quality drop camps, semi-guided and guided hunts for elk, mule deer, black bear and Merriam turkey. We handle all pack in and pack out logistics, as well as game packing. With deep appreciation for conservation and ethical hunting practices, Elk Heart Outfitters is committed to providing clients with a personalized and enjoyable hunting experience.
During the summer, we guide horseback trail rides at the base of Wolf Creek Pass, offering some of the most stunning views in the area.
