Travis Kruckenberg Outfitting, Travis Kruckenberg

At Travis Kruckenberg Outfitting, adventure is guided by purpose. Our mission is to facilitate the public’s use and enjoyment of Western Colorado’s private ranches, public lands, and designated wilderness areas—while leaving those landscapes unimpaired for future generations. We believe the true privilege of outfitting lies not only in providing exceptional hunts, but in preserving the raw, remote character of the land that makes those experiences possible.

Rooted in the principles of the Wilderness Act, we embrace the calling that wilderness areas be devoted to recreational, scenic, scientific, educational, conservation, and historical use. While recreation has always been at the heart of outfitting, we have chosen to place special emphasis on conservation, education, and stewardship. Every hunt and backcountry experience is conducted with respect for wildlife, habitat, and the enduring values of the Western landscape.

Specializing in high-quality, professionally guided big game hunts, Travis Kruckenberg Outfitting offers clients solitude, strategic access to prime habitat, and an immersive wilderness experience. Our focus on limited pressure and thoughtful management allows guests to pursue trophy elk, mule deer, and other big game species in terrain that remains wild and undisturbed.

What truly defines our operation is the level of service and hospitality extended to every guest. From careful trip planning to safe, well-organized camps and personalized attention in the field, we strive to create an atmosphere where clients feel welcomed, prepared, and fully supported. It is our belief that when conservation, professionalism, and genuine hospitality come together, the result is more than a hunt—it is a meaningful experience and a memory that lasts a lifetime.

At Travis Kruckenberg Outfitting, stewardship and service go hand in hand, ensuring every adventure honors both the land and the legacy it represents.
