About
Lobo Outfitters, LLC offers guided and non-guided hunts in Southwest Colorado. During the
summer months, we offer fishing and camping adventures creating vivid, lasting memories for
the whole family.
Opportunities to experience God’s country high-above-it-all take place in the Weminuche
Wilderness. Our camps are at high elevation (12,500 ft) along the Continental Divide and are
not for the weak of heart. Our most sought after hunt is our draw only archery or muzzleloader
hunt. This is a do-it-yourself adventure for hunters that are in shape and are able to traverse
the down timber to reach the hidey holes. You get to choose where you want to go from eight
different locations. Many different options are available, and we can curate a trip suited for your
group. Choose a full camp already set up with pack in and pack out services, or let us give you
and your gear a ride up the mountain and you walk out. You choose the type of camp, location
and duration. If you are lucky enough to draw a once in a lifetime bighorn sheep tag, we have
the expertise and willingness to guide you on a ram hunt. Our summer pack trips are located in
the wilderness and offer day rides, high mountain lake fishing, or just relaxing in the high
country’s pristine nature.
At lower elevations (7,100 ft), we offer guided hunts for elk, mule deer, turkey, bear and cougar.
Our guided hunts take place on private and public land. Our hunts include meals and
accommodations. If it’s elk or deer you’re after, then you’ll stay at our ranch five miles south of
Pagosa Springs, CO, and have home cooked meals at our dining room table. Lion hunting takes
place wherever the snow falls and in one of the many units we’re permitted-it’s an adventure!
We also offer horseback trail rides in the San Juan National Forest. We are horseback from
mid-May to the end of August. Just give us a call to book your two hour ride. The trailhead
where your ride begins is located just five miles south of Pagosa Springs, Colorado, home to the
world’s deepest geothermal hotspring.
