Sportsman Members are an essential part of the Colorado Outfitters Association community. Hunters, anglers, and outdoor enthusiasts have long been the backbone of Colorado’s conservation tradition, and their support helps ensure that our outdoor heritage remains strong for generations to come. By standing with Colorado Outfitters Association, Sportsmen Members uphold the values that define responsible recreation: stewardship of the land, respect for wildlife, and appreciation for the professionals who guide safe and ethical outdoor adventures.
These members share the same passion that drives Colorado Outfitter Association outfitters, guides, and ranching families, protecting access to public lands, supporting ethical practices, and preserving the time-honored traditions that make Colorado one of the greatest outdoor destinations in the West. Their involvement strengthens our statewide network and reinforces the conservation-focused values our organization represents.
The Sportsman Membership program was developed to help further Colorado Outfitters Association’s mission of promoting professionalism in the outfitting industry while protecting Colorado’s hunting and outdoor legacy. Like the Guide Membership program, it generates vital support for the association’s advocacy efforts, conservation partnerships, and work with state and national agencies to safeguard wildlife, habitat, and access.
As one of the few organizations actively fighting to keep the hunting tradition alive in Colorado, Colorado Outfitters Association relies on the sportsmen who believe in responsible, ethical, and sustainable outdoor recreation.
