Guide Members are the dedicated individuals who represent COA outfitters in the field—professionals who lead hunts, rides, fishing trips, pack trips, and backcountry adventures with skill, integrity, and deep respect for Colorado’s wild places. They play a vital role in shaping the guest experience, turning every trip into a safe, ethical, and unforgettable memory through their knowledge, hard work, and commitment to excellence.
These guides embody the core values of the Colorado Outfitters Association: stewardship, heritage, trust, and professionalism. Many have spent their lives learning Colorado’s mountains, rivers, and wildlife, and they help carry forward the proud guiding traditions that have defined this state for generations.
The Guide Membership program was created to help further COA’s mission of strengthening and promoting professionalism within the outfitting industry. Funds generated through this program directly support the association’s ongoing work to protect access, uphold ethical guiding standards, and advocate for the hunting and outdoor traditions we are committed to preserving in Colorado.
As one of the few organizations actively fighting to keep the hunting tradition alive, COA relies on the support of guides who share in this responsibility.
